Digging Potatoes

These pictures were taken on 6th November 2010 in the townland of Coolnasillagh close to the foothills of Benbradagh. The field contains pinks and blues and on the day pinks were being dug. The poor weather has since put a stop to digging and hopefully the remainder of the crop can be harvested before long.Growing potatoes on a small scale is now a rare occurrence in the Dungiven area.
