UPPER GELVIN BRIDGE

The old bridge and parapets were first constructed about 100 years ago when motor traffic in the area was practically non-existent. The parapets suffered the ravages of nature over the years plus additional damage following an accident earlier this year. Both parapets have been recently replaced and the accompanying pictures depict the various stages in the process.
